Coastal Mountains, The Cachapoal River & The Peumo Vineyard

Our Gran Reserva Carménère is consciously crafted from the grapes that grow in The Peumo Vineyard. Positioned at 170m above sea level, the vines of The Peumo Vineyard lay their roots in the terraces and hills of the Coastal Mountains and grow side-by-side along the Cachapoal River. The soils are deep and covered in a top layer of clay, which improves water retention and gives our vertically positioned, pre-phylloxera vines what they need to keep growing all the way until harvest at the end of May.

Lightly seasoned and subtly spicy

Our Gran Reserva Carménère is a crisp, fruity red that comes into its own when paired with red meats, lightly seasoned spicy dishes, and gorgeously aged slabs of cheese.
